Enigin Productivity Tip #3: Stop being productive and have some time off!

Enigin

It’s impossible to spend all your time being 100% productivity. At some point you and your body will need time off to rest and do things which are not related to work. Most people (including myself up until a few months ago) get frustrated when they are not feeling productive and attempt to plough through anyway, often working to exhaustion.

I’m a complete workaholic and regularly work long hours on Enigin and personal projects because I choose to. I know that getting work done in my own time means that there’s not so much pressure on me during work hours in the office. It also allows me a little freedom in the jobs and projects that I work on during the day because people know that I get stuff done.

But overworking can’t be good for us, right? That’s probably true. I regularly forget this and am feeling a little run-down at the moment. So my mission for the next 7 days is not to work outside of office hours. Will I achieve it? Probably not… but it’s worth a shot for a week or so!

Enigin Knowledge Base Live!

Enigin

You may have noticed that it’s been very quiet on Enigin Digital over the last week. Well, don’t despair! We have good reason!

Today Enigin launched The Knowledge Base! We’ve been working on it for the last few months and packed it full of vital information for our Enigin Distributors, including software downloads, manuals, videos, screencasts and articles. From now one, it’ll be the first port of call for Distributors needing help with Enigin products or services and it’s available 24 hours a day!

The Knowledge Base will continually evolve and develop based on feedback from our customers, everytime we receive a unique question via email then we’ll add the answer to the KB for the benefit of the community.

If you are an Enigin Distributor and have used the KB then please let us know what you think

Enigin Training: Hotel Review

Enigin

Due to the snow in the Southwest of England today I’m stuck down in the Enigin hometown of St Austell in Cornwall. After listening to various news reports I decided it was too dangerous to attempt to travel the 45 mile commute home, so booked myself into our local Premier Inn. It’s the same Premier Inn hotel where our newly appointed Enigin Distributors stay during their training week with us.

So I thought i’d take the opportunity to provide a very short review of the hotel and surrounding facilities for the benefit of our potential business partners. Here goes!

The Premier Inn is located just over the road from the Enigin Southview office. From door to door it takes about 90 seconds to walk. The staff are very friendly and check-in took no more than 5 minutes.

My room was a good size and included a double bed plus an additional Sofa bed (Plenty of space to lounge around!)

There is a bar/restaurant next door to the Hotel which is where breakfast and dinner is acquired. It is frequently used by Enigin staff for lunches during the week. They serve great quality pub food and a full English/Continental breakfast. Yum!

Room facility Summary

  • Tea and Coffee making facilities
  • Digital TV
  • Air Conditioning
  • Internet Access (chargeable)
  • Additional Sofa bed

If you are attending an Enigin training course in the future then this is the perfect place to stay. Very close to the Enigin office and a short taxi journey to local pubs and restaurants.

Enigin staff snowed in!

I’m working from home for the second day running due to the snow in Cornwall. We very rarely get snow in the Southwest of England, so even the smallest amount can cause the county to stop running! Anyway, here’s some pictures my colleagues sent me of the official Enigin Snowfight!
